Co-founder of Bright Kitchen and established business mentor, Rens offers superb overall leadership in the evolution of Bright Kitchen. Before its launch Rens and fellow co-founder Paul experimented with different food concepts and finally introduced the unique Vegan Burger menu that has become a tremendous success; it is now the most ordered vegetarian dish on Deliveroo in the Netherlands. His interests include particle physics, astronomy, nature and travel. He’s confident that our brand portfolio will continue to expand in the Netherlands and other countries in Europe, because it offers a fantastic and delicious plant based alternative that reduces our global carbon footprint.

Behind the ever evolving masterpiece menu of Vegan Burger Brothers is Leroy Van Hulst; Bright Kitchen’s Concept Developer. He joined Bright Kitchen in its year of establishment; 2018 and has put in tremendous efforts over the years to ensure the brand is where it is today; holding the record for the best selling burger in Amsterdam ‘The Royal Melt’ for two years in a row and the most ordered vegetarian dish on Deliveroo in the Netherlands. Leroy is a graduate in Marketing and Communication from the University of Amsterdam, he has always been passionate about cooking and preparing meals for friends and family and this has driven him to become what he is today. When he’s not cooking Leroy enjoys surfing, yoga and watching movies. He believes Vegan Burger Brothers is the right brand for any potential partners because it's a tried and tested franchise with excellent results to show for it.

When it comes to execution no one does it better than Harry, the current Operations Manager at Bright Kitchen. He joined in 2019 and has steadily assumed more responsibility; he began as a line cook and progressed to kitchen manager of our first Amsterdam outlet and now oversees all operations and Franchisees Succes as our Restaurant Succes Manager.

Alex is a born leader and problem solver. A graduate in International Hospitality Management, Alex loves learning and is currently pursuing his Masters in Global Business and Sustainability at Rotterdam School of Management. He joined Bright Kitchen in 2020 as a Kitchen Manager and has since progressed to the role of Finance Operations Manager. His interests include socialising with friends, exploring new cultures and foods, going to the gym and climbing obstacle courses. He has full confidence Vegan Burger Brothers will continue to grow because of the staff mindset to keep learning and finding new ways of solving challenges.

Celine is the embodiment of hardwork and dedication; she joined Bright Kitchen in 2021 as an intern at our Amsterdam dark kitchen, she excelled and in less than a year became Kitchen Manager. Celine is a graduate of Breda University of Applied Sciences where she obtained a Bachelor's degree in Facility Management. She enjoys socialising with friends and staying fit. Her experience at Bright Kitchen in her own words has been amazing, the organisation she says is always growing, offering new opportunities and investing in staff well being. Celine believes Vegan Burger Brothers is an eco-friendly brand that’s good for the environment and offers people delicious plant based food options.

A real gentleman, Barney as we like to call him is our Business Development Manager at Bright Kitchen. He’s always on the lookout for innovative hospitality businesses and smart entrepreneurs that want to get more out of their delivery business or kitchen real estate. He's very analytical and action oriented advising mentioned groups on everything there is to know on becoming successful in the delivery market. Barney believes Bright Kitchen is strongly set up to thrive in the food tech market as one of the leading innovators of high performing food delivery brands in Europe and has the data and team to actually prove it. In his spare time he enjoys playing tennis, bouldering, DJing, managing events and running a music label

Kitchen Manager & Food Concept Developer

Hailing from Louisiana, USA, and now residing in the Netherlands, Taylor “Turtle” Blanche serves the Vegan Burger Brothers team as Concept Development and Location Manager. Coming from a family of gastronomes, Turtle has culinary expertise in his DNA. He has over a decade of experience in professional kitchens which includes owning and operating a restaurant for six years. Turtle joined the Vegan Burger Brothers team in March of 2021 and has been instrumental in enhancing the quality and experience of our clients by crafting and certifying our main product: good food. In his spare time, Turtle enjoys playing the bass guitar, and listening to and producing music. He believes Vegan Burger Brothers is an amazing franchise tapping into a growing market of conscious eaters.

Franchisee Success Intern
Ronja came from Switzerland to the Netherlands to study hotel management. As a final part of her studies, she is now doing her Internship at Bright Kitchen as a Franchisee success intern. Her love for delicious plant-based food and her wish to have a positive impact on the planet, brought her to Bright Kitchen. She believes that offering mouth-watering vegan alternatives will eventually lead to people consuming less meat and dairy and therefore help tackle climate change. In her spare time, Ronja enjoys practicing yoga, reading, and being in nature.
